The Ritual
The Anlee Noir Ritual
A slower approach to face care.
Step 01
Prepare
Begin with clean skin and apply your preferred facial oil, serum, or moisturiser.
Step 02
Sculpt
Use slow, gentle movements, following the natural contours of the face.
Step 03
Restore
Take a moment to breathe, reset, and make the ritual entirely your own.
Chapter One
Preparing the skin
- 01Begin with clean, dry skin — remove makeup and cleanse gently.
- 02Apply your preferred facial oil or serum so the tool can glide without pulling.
- 03Settle somewhere calm and unhurried; the ritual is as much about the pause as the movement.

Chapter Two
Using the Black Obsidian Gua Sha
- 01Apply facial oil or serum to clean, dry skin.
- 02Hold the gua sha nearly flat, at a slight angle against your jawline.
- 03Starting at the chin, glide slowly and outward along the jawline toward the ear.
- 04Repeat each movement 3–5 times, working evenly on both sides.
Chapter Three
Using the Lymphatic Drainage Brush
- 01Begin on clean, dry skin.
- 02Using gentle pressure, glide the brush in slow, intentional strokes along the forehead, cheeks, jaw, and under-eye area.
- 03Move in the direction of drainage — outward and downward across the forehead toward the temples, downward from the cheeks and jaw toward the neck, and outward from beneath the eyes toward the ears.
- 04Repeat each movement 3–5 times, working evenly on both sides.
Chapter Four
Cleaning and storing the tools
- —Wipe the gua sha clean after every use.
- —Rinse the brush bristles gently with lukewarm water, avoiding the base.
- —Gently swirl bristles in a mild cleanser weekly, then rinse until water runs clear.
- —Allow both tools to dry completely before storing — lay the brush bristle-side down.
- —Store the set in a clean, dry place.
Chapter Five
Safety and recommended precautions
- —Use light, gentle pressure — the ritual should always feel comfortable.
- —Avoid broken, irritated, inflamed, or highly sensitive skin.
- —Stop if you experience discomfort and allow the skin to rest.
- —Keep the tools clean and dry between uses, and store them safely.
